Britton Keith Woodward, M.D.

Dr. Woodward earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis and his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.  He completed his residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis in 2002 followed by a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute.  In 2005, Dr. Woodward completed an additional fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Vanderbilt University, becoming the first neuro-interventional radiologist practicing in Knoxville. He is currently Chairman of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center’s Acute Stroke Team and Medical Director of the Neurovascular Research Center of East Tennessee.

Dr. Woodward’s skills in interventional neuroradiology have been featured in several medical and news publications.

His memberships include the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Medical Association, American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. He is a senior member of the Society of Neuro-Interventional Surgery and the American Society of Neuroradiology.

Dr. Woodward is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has additional Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology.
